Mary Kay Oil Mattifier

Oil on the skin’s surface helps the upper layer of the skin retain water and protects the skin from environmental causes of dryness. It also can give skin a greasy or sticky feel that is present several hours after cleansing.
This lightweight formula dries to a natural, matte finish, instantly absorbing oil and controlling shine for at least eight hours.
Suitable for sensitive skin.
Clinically tested for skin irritancy and allergy.
Fragrance and oil free.
Will not clog pores.
Price $15.00
I have to say I like this mattifier better than the primer.
I use it after my moisturizer and before my foundation.
I noticed that it does keep my makeup in place and my skin has become less oily when I wear this.
I also set my foundation with the Mary Kay Setting Spray and its just an Amazing Combo.
I have found that I do not touch up as much, maybe once if its really necessary or if it is extremely hot and if  I'm very active, otherwise I do not feel the need to touch up when I wear this oil mattifier and the setting spray.
I definitely recommend this one to those with oily skin.
I hope this review was helpful.
Here is a photo I took at different times throughout the day.
from left to right
8:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. & 4:30 p.m.
I did not touch up at all.

Mary Kay Eye Primer

Mary Kay Eye Primer is a waterproof formula that glides on smoothly to extend the wear of eye color and prevent it from creasing and smudging.
Suitable for sensitive skin. Fragrance-free. Ophthalmologist-tested.
Suitable for contact lens wearers.
Price $12.00
I actually like this eye primer. I have been wearing it a lot lately and it does make my eye shadow last. The texture is a medium/thick white lotion like product, but its easy to apply.
It does make the colors appear more vibrant.
The price is not as bad compared to my HG Mac's Paint Pots and UD Primer Potion.
Overall this is a great product and will keep buying.

With no primer on the left, with primer on the right.

As a final step, helps makeup look freshly applied for hours.
Also works as a refresher any time of the day.
Dries quickly and washes off easily.
For any skin type, even oily.
2 fl. oz.
Price $18.00
So I have been wanting the try the famous Skindinavia finishing spray, heard so many great stuff about it. I also heard that Skindinavia partnered up Urban Decay and made the  All Nighter Setting Spray. Since I wanted to try either one I gave Mary Kay a chance.
It does make my foundation and blush last longer, I didn't feel the need to touch up as much. I applied my makeup at 8 am checked at 9 pm and I still had blush on without touching up. It does say it's also for oily skin, lately I have been experiencing oily skin and I did not feel it to be sticky or oily on my face.
The only thing that I'm not to crazy about is the price. it is $18 for 2 fl. oz.
I would buy it again but maybe thru Skindinavia to add it on my Freelance Makeup Kit.
Skindinavia is 4 fl. oz for $29, cheaper right?
This setting spray is a great item to carry with you on Special Events or if you are a Makeup Artist, so that the makeup can last longer on your clients.
Overall I liked the product and I recommend it to you guys to give it a shot.
Hope this review was helpful.
As always Thanks for Stopping by!

Mary Kay Brush Cleaner

This fast-drying cleaner eliminates makeup residue from brushes to provide proper hygiene.
Helps to provide stay-true color between applications of different shades and textures.
Helps condition bristles to protect your investment.
Brushes feel new and perform like new after use.
Keeps brushes smelling clean and fresh.
Brushes dry in their original shape.
Price $10.00
It is fast drying I can say, it also leaves a nice smell after your brush is dry.
Cleaning wise it does a descent job in taking off the makeup off your eye brushes daily.
As for foundation or cream  product used brushes it does not take it off that well in my opinion.
Then again I usually shampoo my foundation and cream brushes once a week.
This brush cleaner reminds me of the elf and Sephora brush cleaner scent wise.
Cleaning power I think I like Sephora's just a bit more.
Between elf and Mary Kay I think they are very similar.
As for the price you get 6 FL. oz. for $10.00 not bad I think.
Overall I do like this brush cleaner for a daily use.
Below is a picture of a before and after brush cleaning.
You be the judge and tell me what you think. =)
