Face Painting by Laura

Hi Guys!
I know I have been MIA for a while and the reason why is because I have been a bit busy with the new addition to my business.
Face Painting by Laura
I really enjoy the work of Art and to me its really a passion and I just like to keep going and trying new things.
Although I still do LOVE doing Freelancing Glamourous Makeup I've also been doing Face Painting.
I've never done this before, this is just my beginning but will keep going.
So this is the reason why I haven't been posting, but will get back to it in no time.
I will also be posting some of my Face Painting work and are looking forward to all your comments and words of Encouragement =)
Here are some pictures, I hope you like them.
Please note that these are my first paintings I will get better with more practice ;)

e.l.f. Essentials Liquid Eyeliner

e.l.f. Essential Liquid Eyeliner

No more tugging or pulling on your eyelids with this easy glide Liquid Eyeliner.
The smudge-proof liner is rich in color, creating a long lasting defined look.
The fine tip brush creates easy and precise definition for natural or dramatic eye effects.
Price $1.00

I'm in love with this product!!
I used to use the NYC liquid eyeliner and lately I have not been seeing it much at the stores, so I had to try something new. I'm so glad I did not have to search long.
This eyeliner lasts all day without creasing or rubbing off like other liners out there. It does not run, its easy to apply. I got this in the color black, its very pigmented, a very bold black color. It glides easily but waht I love the most is the old fashion brush. I don't like that stiff felt tip that other liners have and when I saw the packaging in this liner I thought it would be one of those tip liners. Im so gald it had my favorite liner brush.
I'm absolutely happy with this liner, everytime elf impresses me even more with the quality of their products, not to mention their prices. I got this for $1.00 I have a few elf favorite products that are a must on my makeup kit. I will post about these products soon.
I definetly reccomend this liner to everyone.

I hope this review was helpful!

Ebay 32 Lip Palette

32 Lip Palette
32 incredible long lasting lip colors, some with shimmer, some are matte.

Show the colors on your lip in different style with the 32 lip color palette.
Perfect for mixing and creating your own colors.
It is in excellent quality and so versatile to use.
Convenient to use, and easy to put on.
Perfect for both Professional Salon or Home use!
Colors: 32
Item size: 22.8 * 15 * 0.8cm
Item weight: 203g
Package size: 23 * 15.5 * 1.5cm
Package weight: 236g

I got this palette a while back on Ebay for my Freelance Kit.
I also got it because I really wanted to know how I fealt about wearing
bold colors on my lips. Since this palette has a wide range of colors I decided to order it.
I search for Blog and Video reviews before I purchase any makeup item, this way I can be more familiar with the product.
I  believe I paid no more than $7 when I purchased this palette.
It has 32 colors a variety of  pinks, corals and reds.
I think the pigmentation is actually very good.
What I liked about this palette is that they are actually lipsticks and not glosses like I thought they would be. There are about 5 glosses the most on this palette.
The colors are very creamy and pigmented as you will see on the pictures below.
I used this palette on my last post and the lipstick lasted along time and I even had to wipe it off more than once. The only thing that I was a bit bummed out when I recently got this palette was that the product has a slight scent on it, and I hate bad scents or taste on my lip products specially if I'm going to use it on clients, any type of bad scent or taste is automatically a no no for me.
The scent did go away and I didn't have a bad taste after all.
Overall I am very happy with this palette and do recommend it to anyone that wants to play with color or for a Starters Makeup Kit.

Here I am using the 4th. Pink color on the 3rd. row.

MAC Prolongwear Concealer

 Pro Longwear Concealer
A lightweight fluid concealer that provides medium to full coverage with a comfortable,
natural matte finish. Colour-true formula lasts up to 15 hours.
Helps conceal and correct the look of under-eye circles, and discolorations.
Comes in a clear glass vial with a matte black pump.
Price $18.00 US

I have been wanting to try this concealer for such a long time now.
Now that I finally got it I have developed a Love and Hate relationship with it.
Although I love the coverage, I hate the way it intensifies my fine lines under my eyes, something I had not experienced with other concealers this much.
I really wanted to love this concealer for under my eyes.
I do like how it lasts on my cheeks as if it was foundation, I don't feel the need of touching up,
but for under my eyes it was just not for me.

If you guys have any tips on how to apply this concealer please run them thru me as I don't want to have to take this one back to Mac.

Thanks for Stopping By!

Bare Essentuals Prime Time Foundation Primer

Prime Time Brightening Foundation Primer is a breakthrough primer that adds an extraordinarily luminous, healthy-looking glow to your skin while smoothing out your complexion. It's great for combating dry patches, fine lines, excess oil and minimizing large pores. Infused with 100% pure bareMinerals, nourishing vitamins and antioxidants, it instantly brightens your complexion and extends the wear of your bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation. Formulated without preservatives, it glides on with no tacky feel and is suitable for all skin types.
Simply shake well before use and apply an even layer all over your face. Less is more.
Price $23.00

I have not been wearing liquid foundation lately since here in LA the weather is crazy hot.
I have only been using my Artistry Ideal Dual Powder Foundation and although I love this powder for that full coverage it provides me, I have been experiencing non staying power as much as I am used to just with moistourizer under my powder. I needed to find a great face primer and started my hunt.
I have been hearing alot about Bare Essentuals Prime Time and thought it may help me since my foundation is a powder formula for now.
I went to get a sample and fell in love I had to go back and buy it.
It does create a flawless finish, it does seem to control oil and it does make your foundation last and stay put longer.
The texture is similar as the Smashbox Photo Ready Primer that silicone feel but a little lighter not too thick as Smashbox, do not get me wrong Smashbox Photoready is one of my favorite primers out there. I just wanted to try something different.
On application it does not ball up on your skin.
It absorbs to your skin quickly making it easy to apply foundation.
One pump is enough for my whole face, if you apply too much you may experince balling up on your face.
I really did like this primer alot and will definetly keep buying it.
I hope this review is helpful to you guys.
